About The Ranch
Pennington Creek Hunting Club is operated on the historic Gray Ranch. It consists of 9,400 acres of privately owned ranch land located in Johnston and Murray Counties, Oklahoma. The ranch headquarters is located near Mill Creek, Oklahoma, which is located in the heart of Whitetail Deer country in the south-central portion of the state. Our Oklahoma Hunting Ranch offers excellent opportunities for you to harvest a trophy animal of a lifetime whether you are Whitetail Deer Hunting, Wild Hog Hunting, or Turkey Hunting.
Lodging
Located on the ranch is a clean, comfortable, easily-accessed, but secluded Oklahoma Hunting Lodge. The Hunting Lodge is capable of sleeping six and has all the amenities of a person’s home. The Hunting Lodge includes two fully furnished bedrooms, living room, two full baths, and full kitchen, as well as a fully enclosable (depending on the weather) outdoor pavilion that has gas and charcoal grills, as well as a place to sit out around the fire.
Amenities
Outside of offering incredible free ranging hunting opportunities and comfortable lodging, we also offer a shooting range for our guests to make sure firearms are on before and during hunts but also to have fun between hunts. We also offer a skinning shed and walk in cooler so your harvest stays fresh while you are with us at Pennington Creek Hunting Club.
Ranch Wildlife
Pennington Creek Hunting Club is an ideal habitat for growing big mature whitetail, holding lots of wild hogs, and providing wild turkeys plenty of food sources, cover, and roosting locations. We pride ourselves on our wildlife management through food plots, protein and supplement feeding, as well as partnering with the Oklahoma Wildlife Department’s DMAP doe management program assuring the ranch has a more balanced buck to doe ratio and a healthier deer herd overall.
Pennington Creek itself runs through the ranch and is abundant in small mouth and large mouth bass, crappie, catfish, and bluegill. At the present time, the operation is devoted to yearlings on grass combined with a herd of Black/Black Baldy cows. The ranch is also home to working horses and a herd of prized longhorns. We have no shortage of wildlife on the ranch, both domestic and wild!
