“This was our sixth trip to Pennington Hunting Club for a wild hog hunt. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. It all started as usual scheduling our hunt / trip with Travis. Travis continues to do a wonderful job getting step one of the hunt under way. The next person we dealt with was Beth, which is one of the most professional and sweetest people you could ever hope to work with. She made getting the final payments handled and also moving deposits around for two members of our group due to Covid issues they had. Beth kept in contact with me every time one of our group made a payment and made sure I received a final invoice. We arrived at the cabin late in the afternoon and were met by Jason, which is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. We have known Jason for six years, and he has become a good friend we look forward to seeing every year. He is an outstanding person and guide, and we have never left without a hog. Each and everyone of us in the group got our pig and had an extremely great time. We met Ted for the first time this season, and he also did a very good job, and assisted our group. We even had Keith Gray and his wife stop by for a visit one afternoon while we were there. They are nice folks, and it meant a lot that they took the time to stop and say hello and meet us. I want to thank everyone involved at Pennington for the great job they do, and say that this last trip was the very best ! We are already booked for next year and looking forward to another great hunt."

“After using different outfitters in recent years, I had my deer hunt this year at Pennington Creek Hunting Club. I recommend it highly. My friend and I arrived midafternoon Friday before the opening day of rifle season. We were met by Jason Hair our guide for the weekend and introduced to our fellow hunters. The bunkhouse is quite comfortable and there is a really neat pavilion with a large wood burning stove where we hung out had our meals and shared an after dinner cocktail, and in my case my evening pipe. They have a good range to re-check your scope, which helps with the anticipation and confidence before the opening morning arrives. The stands are quite comfortable, enclosed with good visibility. Pennington Creek Ranch is beautiful, and the creek itself is spring fed so the water running through area is unusually clear. Everyone saw lots of deer. I got my buck the second morning and a doe that evening. All the guys tagged out before I left except for one fellow hunter holding out for a big trophy buck in his area that I think he got a shot at the morning we pulled out. Jason is an very good guide both technically and on a personal level. His wife June was a real treat, bring great food for mid-morning breakfast and dinner, and being right there with Jason providing transportation encouragement and congratulations. Travis Singleton is the man you deal with overseeing the operation and making sure your needs are met. You will find him to be an honest and down to earth outfitter well suited to set you up for a wonderful hunting experience. I will be using Pennington Creek for the rest of my hunting career.
